Yep. Coworkers are not your friends. My birthday is coming up so I told my coworker that I wanted to be off my birthday so I was gonna put in my PTO but she beat me to it. She got approved and I didn’t guess who’s working on her birthday? Me. Don’t trust your coworkers they’re not your friends.

Also don't EVER tell coworkers that you don't have kids. Ever. There are some real nasty coworkers that automatically don't think your time is as valuable as there's and suddenly they're asking you to cover shifts for them because "You don't even have kids to worry about!" So I have 3 kids now, 2 in grade school and one is a toddler, no I can't stay to cover I have to pick them up from school.

Oh god 😵💫 I seen a TikTok of a nurse warning people to never join a group chat while being in nursing school with other students because they will snitch if you say something bad. All the comments were saying their experience and one said that other nursing studentwere giving false information about topics that their test would have in the group chat so they can sabotage the other students. Good god 😭 I don’t think I’ll find any friends in nursing school
