If you try to go at the top, a new maze more complex and start to build up from the maze underneath.

Not mean, just going to be annoying after a while. Base raids hardly ever turn into difficulty, it just turns into a game of "find the obvious exploit the game dev missed during testing". Every time.

honestly it's a fair mechanism. it's a good [fuck around and find out] logic to it. but maybe just incase you probably want to leave clues like "the maze hates cheaters"

fair but it doesnt make sense. you could change the material of the top of the maze, to make sound so it alerts monsters to chase you. that way you can go up there, but you have to walk on your own floor, otherwise you become a prey. kinda like the Warden in minecraft
