Some of my most used photography composition techniques. Save this and try them out next time you go shooting. Here’s a quick breakdown of each one: 1. Scale: when you place a familiar object / person to give the scene an immediate sense of scale and grandness. 2. Light & Shadows: underexpose the scene for the highlights (brighter parts of your scene) which will give you a striking contrasty scene with dark shadows. 3. Layers: I often look for layers like this (especially in nature landscapes) to add depth to my photographs. 4. Framing: find a natural frame in your environment to nicely compose your subject in. 5. Slow shutter: use a slow shutter speed to add a sense of motion and energy to your photographs. Which set & technique do you like the most? Let me know if you find this useful and want me to continue this series! IB: @Dasha #photography #howto #photographytips
