@jam3723: GLOBAL CATHOLIC PRIESTHOOD RISES TO 407,421 PRIESTS WORLDWIDE After five years without growth, the number of Catholic priests worldwide has finally increased, reaching 407,421 priests, according to the latest statistics released by the Vatican's Fides News Agency. The figure represents an increase of 425 priests, up from 406,996 in the previous reporting period, marking a return to growth in the global Catholic priesthood. The report was released ahead of the 100th World Mission Sunday, celebrated on October 18, 2026. The figures were drawn from the *Statistical Yearbook of the Church* and reflect data as of December 31, 2024. As the Church continues her mission of proclaiming the Gospel throughout the world, let us continue to pray for our priests, seminarians, and all those discerning a vocation to the priesthood. #SaintsOfToday
