I did the 3 Washington NPs after flying into Seattle. It’s a bit of driving and you definitely don’t get to see it all, but it’s probably my favorite trip I’ve been on.

Denver to Mesa Verde is about a 7 hour drive one way. If you fly into Durango or Cortez, you can hit Mesa Verde, Black Canyon, and Arches and Canyon Lands in Utah, without as much driving only one way. (All are 3 hours or under one way).

LA if you’re going to SEKI why not go to Yosemite too, and if you’re going to Joshua Tree might as well pop over into Death Valley

I have been to many of these, just last weekend I was at Sequoia National Park. North Cascades was amazing! I think Arcadia on the east coast is my favorite so far!

Thanks! We just did Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef and Cedar Breaks National Monument, Dixie National Forest and a few trails that wasn’t in the National Parks that was a bucket list of hikes. We left from Salt Lake City, we were going to do Las Vegas but the flight didn’t arrive until 11:30pm and it was more expensive than Salt Lake City and we got there at 9am. Next year will leaving Salt Lake City and go Canyonlands and Arches and there is a few state parks and a couple National Monuments that I am going to add to it. But we will have to do the Las Vegas for Grand Canyon, Death Valley and I want to do a few hikes in Valley of Fire State Park.
