His body was found in a river early Tuesday morning after days of searching, and his father, who reportedly confessed, remains in police custody. His mother, Navita Ramnarine, said she never expected the father to do this to him, and that as a parent, what he did was wrong and very cruel. She said she only found out what happened to Orlando when she saw camera footage on Facebook, and she confirmed she identified him in it. She said she separated from the father because of his abusive behaviour, and when the case went to court, she gave him the children. She admitted she does not check on them much because of the father's behaviour, but said she pays child support, $4,000 a week, sometimes $16,000 or $20,000 a month depending on the weeks.
