Salvatore Lazzaro :
It's toooooo bad that the Leafs/Leafs scouts can't draft top tier defenseman prospects like other NHL teams have been doing. Winnipeg had a boatload of them coming thru their system and they started to trade some of them to get other talents. Colorado drafted Makar and look at him play. Bruins seems to draft good defenseman prospects and they bring them up and they're awesome. Leafs for some reason can't draft right. Kaberle was the best draft they made and he played awesome during his time here. Seems like the Leafs trade for old D-man and the backend becomes very slow and very immobile. I hate to see Cowan traded but if they can get a really good top tier D-man then so be it.

Does the US $ make it an attraction? Cheap visit for the NHL Scouts?
