Its different playing Real Betis away, 3 days later PSG away and then Real Madrid at home for Barca than playing Racing Strassbourg Away, Barca at Home and than Olympique Lyon at Home for PSG. You can argue tha OL is at the top now and they had a great start - but the league is way longer. The new format is only important to be in the first 8… to qualify directly. Its not a shame to have a loss by PSG - specially, the game was great from both of them. I think Flick made the right decision - with one only mistake - instead if bringing GAVI - i would have brought Gabriel Jesus at the end.

It makes sense, if we beat madrid sunday we are 9 points ahead and with that leverage we can make more rotations at the end of season when it matter the most, ofc we wanted to win today but i think it was the right decision by Hansi Flick
