Took me 1 year to officially let go. It really does get easier once you CHOOSE to let go. I stopped crying for her, I see her car everywhere and don’t even think about it anymore, I see her favorite things without realizing it, I still eat the same foods with loved eating together WITHOUT thinking of her. It really does get better I promise you guys you just have to choose to let go. Do it for yourself.

it does get easier. i’m only about 5 months post breakup but i noticed recently the pain isn’t constant anymore and tbh i can’t tell when that happened. when it does come it isn’t nearly as heavy as it was in the beginning. honestly i didn’t want this but i learned to live with it. i’m letting go slowly everyday by not stalking her socials or checking reposts or searching through every app looking for any photo or remnants of the relationship.
