They should add a custom domain to monstadt that let's you choose fight the boss/farm materials for newer characters. And when the banner ends the domain changes over to the next new character. It would at least give some headway into building someone newer

honestly they should be rewarded with their materials while claiming their commissions or adding additional quests just for their materials so they can still play normally and not get spoiled

I'm new and I got ineffa accidentally then pulled flins I managed to build them although isn't that good since I'm new can do 84+k total damage (sucrose only have three four stars artifacts with def atk energy recharge only ,same to ineffa and aino ,their 4starweapon is still lvl 20,50 )[Embarrassed]

genshin very much assumes your up to date, when they release new things. to the point that they'll release a new character from an older region but have there matireals be from a new one. for instance: why the hell do I have to fight a natlan boss to level Dahlia??? 😭

May solution is u can just skip teleporting to the domain using the book the catch is getting let less accession material until you unlock the domain👀

this is exactly my gripe with the new primo system involving the archon quests. not even just exploring but they will give you extra primos for completing NEW CONTENT during the event duration. and that second "FREE 5*" Everyone was so excited about??? yeah you have to complete the newest archon quest just to get that 5* AND ITS LIMITED. so if you don't catch up AND FINISH the new quests in the allotted time- you don't get that extra 5* it's not that they care about "immersion" they just want to force playertimes they want to make people complete their quests so they can claim a high amount of returning or new players each version. this is NOT the genshin I signed up for and it's sad.

They should have et least made it so that you can enter snezhnaya in other ppls worlds, anytime I join someones world and spawn in snezhnaya, paimon‘s talking bout sum „how about we explore the area ahead of us later“. If they‘d allowed us to enter snezhnaya in coop the could still have the immersion of doing the story to unlock it and still allow players to farm for snezhnayan characters

The fix is very simple. Make all domains obtainable and so that u can fast travel to them without needing to do any story or traveling. You just immediately spawn inside the domain and can farm for materials that you need🥀

In Wuwa when they released the Cyberpunk Collab, I was very new, but I had Rebecca, the game gave me permission to farm her necessary materials,They didn't force me to go through the whole story to get what I needed; I just went straight to building her.This is a problem with Genshin: if you're very new, you won't be able to build new characters without having done "X" quests or walking to the domain.

Well, IMO you don't need the new characters to progress in the story. That's just it. Make do with other characters whose mats are currently available in whatever the unlocked region you have if the story really matters that much to them and doesn't wanna be spoiled. That's really the con of getting into a game late. They just have to adjust. Either want the story or the latest character. Cause really, story wise, you shouldn't have met Vesna anyway. Her voicelines themselves would spoil it

worse one would be inazuma imo, there's no skip that lets you set foot to inazuma, you'll have to go mondstadt & liyue AQ then do few AQ in inazuma to mostly unlock it just for both regular mats and boss ones, one like yae you go extra mile by unlocking enkanomiya
