You've got to weigh the difference in the cost. Those rotors could've been reused and slap a set of brake pads in.The performance would be adequate.

My old 1986 Corvette has a braking 60 to 0 in 4 feet less than the amg. Rotors and pads cost me $260 for all 4. Even early c4 Vettes could brake 10 times to full stop at 100mph with zero brake fade. Im sure carbon fiber is better but unless you track...it ain't better for the money.

You can take those rotors and bring them to a machine shop and have them turned on a flywheel machine for MUCH cheaper than you can replace them. So they’ll have 20 thousandths taken off 🤷♂️They’ll stop
