@lopmwhiy: My pimple looked so swollen this morning, even after using an acne patch. #pimplepatch #swollenpimple #acneproblems #realskin #skincarecommunity
I work in dermatology, and honestly, I know popping pimples can feel satisfying, but I don’t recommend squeezing them too hard. It may leave acne marks, irritate your skin, or even worsen inflammation. Consider using an acne cream instead.[Smile]

Pimple patches are great for picking, but they only suck out surface fluid and don’t actually treat the acne 😭 I stopped buying packs of patches every week and grabbed mple face cream on Amazon instead. It actually calms the inflammation underneath before it even comes to a head. You should def test it out!

Your face looks fine; it took me over two months to recover from my own facial acne.

You might want to try this face cream—it’s the one I’m currently using. I found it on Amazon. Since I tend to break out almost every month, I’ve tried quite a few different products, and this is the one that’s worked best for me.

Have you tried this "mple" face cream? I use it all the time;
it contains tea tree oil and niacinamide, and it works perfectly as a moisturizer alongside other skincare products.

I have a lot of acne on my face, and I get breakouts from time to time. I don’t really have a solution for it right now, but I do know that I shouldn’t squeeze the pimples.

My husband and I both have acne-prone skin and deal with breakouts pretty much every month. We used to pop each other’s pimples whenever they appeared, and now both of our faces are covered in acne scars.😭😭😭

I’m dealing with the exact same issue! Pimple patches have never really worked for me either.

Many people overlook the limitations of these two acne products. Salicylic acid can help unclog pores, but it may cause dryness and irritation, especially for sensitive skin. Hydrocolloid pimple patches mainly absorb fluid and protect blemishes, but they have limited benefits for deep acne and preventing new breakouts.

Pimple patches work quite well for whiteheads, but they can’t prevent new breakouts. If you’re prone to frequent acne, using an anti-acne cream might be helpful.😫

Never apply a pimple patch over a closed comedone. The oxygen-deprived environment can cause the closed comedone to worsen and turn into an inflamed, red, swollen pimple. I’m speaking from personal experience.

You might want to try MPLE cream. My skin condition used to be much worse than yours—it was so sensitive that even the slightest irritation would cause redness, swelling, and breakouts. A doctor recommended it to me, and it really helped me recover. I highly suggest giving it a try; plus, it’s quite affordable.

A friend of mine who works at a beauty salon mentioned this "mple" face cream—it’s actually part of one of their 588-yuan treatment packages. But I looked it up on Amazon and it’s only 19 bucks! Definitely a much better deal to buy it myself.

Never apply an acne patch over such a solution or an infected area. Doing so creates a sealed, moist environment that allows bacteria to thrive—which is extremely dangerous, especially on the face! I personally use a cream from MPLE; ingredients like azelaic acid or salicylic acid are far too irritating for my skin.
