@coloradowildhorses: Chef Crow Is Sharpening His Knife… Or Is He? Look at this guy go! Back and forth across the fence post like a chef sharpening his favorite kitchen knife. Careful, Chef! That blade is looking dangerous! Except he's not sharpening his beak. He's cleaning it! Now take a look at the fence post after he's finished. A little blood, some hair, and gouges in the wood. Excuse me, sir… WHAT was on today's menu?! Crows wipe their bills on rough surfaces to clean off food and debris. And judging by those marks, that beak is already plenty sharp. No knife-sharpening lessons necessary! The chef has cleaned his utensils. The evidence is on the cutting board. And the rest of us have questions about dinner!
