@gods.chosen111: No longer want to build my life around the temporary things of this world while neglecting the One who gave Himself for me. I want Christ to be the center of my heart, the foundation of my faith, and the reason I continue moving forward when life becomes difficult. Scripture says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:3–4. What a beautiful hope it is to know that my life belongs to Him and that the glory to come is greater than anything this world can offer. To be in Christ means learning to surrender the person I once was and allowing His Spirit to transform me into someone who reflects His character. It means turning away from sin, forgiving those who have hurt me, loving those who are difficult to love, and remaining faithful even when nobody sees my struggles. I know I will still face trials, and there will be moments when I feel weak, but I do not have to depend on my own strength to continue this walk. The glory of Christ is not something I can claim through pride or earn through my own perfection. It is His grace that saves me, His truth that guides me, and His presence that sustains me. I want to live each day remembering that I am called to walk with Him now while keeping my heart fixed on the eternal glory He has promised. Lord Jesus, thank You for calling me to belong to You. Help me put away the desires that pull me away from Your presence and teach me to live in a way that honors Your name. Let Your glory change my heart, strengthen my faith, and give me a greater desire for righteousness. When the world tries to distract me, remind me that nothing compares to knowing You. When I suffer, help me remain faithful; when I am tempted, help me choose obedience; and when I fall, lead me back to You in repentance. I do not want to seek glory for myself, but to glorify You through my life. Keep me close to You, Lord, until the day I stand in Your presence and see the fullness of the glory I have trusted in by faith.
