Because after being dead for so long spirits usually start being forgotten and eventually even forget parts of themselves… forgetting their own appearance, their own personalities… resulting in this no face type of look.

when my boyfriend had to go back home I saw a ghost that looked like him but his face was blurry and he was walking behind me but disappeared quick I still don’t know what that was it was just weird but not creepy since I know there’s ghost at my house from past experiences

My grandma told me each spirit has a name and if you don’t know them by their name you won’t see them by their true features..she also told me some times sprites control weather they want you to see them fully or not. So if you see a spirit with a face be careful with what your looking at, it could simply just try to get your attention or it’s just simply something shaped as someone

I don't believe ghosts are dead people, just things pretending to be. I believe, that's why 99.99% of paranormal events are not benevolent and usually malevolent or, at the bare minimum, mischievous.
