As a medical provider, I think it's important to take these reports seriously without making conclusions the evidence doesn't support. The clinical research on R is promising, but promising doesn't mean risk-free. And the safety of a medication studied under controlled conditions cannot automatically be applied to products purchased from unregulated sources. We can acknowledge a potential safety signal without presenting an unproven cause of death as established fact. The other safety piece here is the danger that the grey market presents. When medications are purchased from unregulated sources, there is no 100% reliable way to verify their identity, purity, concentration, or sterility. That creates risks of contamination, incorrect dosing, and exposure to substances that haven't undergone appropriate quality testing. Even when the active ingredient is legitimate, the absence of regulated manufacturing and appropriate medical oversight introduces additional risks that should never be overlooked. The takeaway? Avoid the gray market whenever possible.
