Through his extraordinary spiritual wisdom, he recognised that a powerful deity was responsible for the king's suffering. The Guru manifested his eight extraordinary forms and performed a sacred vajra dance. The mountains trembled with spiritual energy. Mysterious beings and local deities gathered to witness the miraculous display. But Shelging Karpo refused to appear. ☀️ The Miraculous Light Guru Rinpoche then used a miraculous display of reflected sunlight to draw the hidden deity from his dwelling. Golden rays illuminated the mountains and pierced the darkness. Unable to resist the extraordinary manifestation, Shelging Karpo finally emerged. Before the Guru stood a terrifying white lion, radiating tremendous supernatural power. 🦅 The Mighty Garuda and the White Lion At that extraordinary moment, Guru Rinpoche manifested the overwhelming power of a mighty Garuda. Its enormous golden wings stretched across the sky. The mountains echoed with its presence. The great Garuda descended upon the fierce white lion, subduing the powerful deity through enlightened spiritual authority. The struggle was not merely a contest of strength. It represented the triumph of wisdom over ignorance and compassion over destructive anger. Shelging Karpo finally surrendered. He returned the stolen life force of King Sindhu Raja and pledged to become a protector of the sacred Buddhist teachings. 🌸 The King's Miraculous Recovery As the king's life force returned, his strength was restored. The kingdom rejoiced, and the people expressed their gratitude to Guru Rinpoche. At the sacred meditation cave, Guru Rinpoche left an imprint of his body upon the rock.
