@ashandthechaos4: HOMEMADE TATER TOTS #fyp #tatertots #EasyRecipe #potato #frenchfries HOMEMADE TATER TOTS 5-6 large russet potatoes Peeled washed cut into cubes Put all the potatoes in a bowl w ice cold water n mix it about 10 times in a circle then dump n pat it dry To a pot of oil make sure the oil is hot enough if the oil isn’t ready it can ruin the whole potato Fry for 6 -8 min u want it light color on it it won’t look ready n thats OK We will do these on batches u dont wanna overcrowd the oil bc u will drop the temperature and give them a swirl so they dont stick to the bottom In batches after the first fry put the potatoes in a food processor n pulse 6-8 times no more that one second be careful u dont pulse it to mush Once u have all ur potatoes pulsed add it to a bowl and add: Pinch of pepper Pinch of salt adjust to ur liking (U can add whatever seasonings u like this is where u can make it ur own u wanna make them Cajun tater tots garlic n herb etc) 1 tbsp of cornstarch 1/2 tsp sugar Mix Start shaping them Take a little make a cylinder n squish the ends down Place on a tray w parchment paper Now it’s time to do the second fry Until golden brown I hope u like them ❤️❤️
