@jjustanotherpoet: I miss succession #kendallroy #succession #loganroy #paristexas #filmedit Kendall Roy is a deeply complex character whose life is shaped by his desperate need for approval, his struggle with identity, and his inability to escape his father’s shadow. Beneath his ambition and confidence lies a man who is constantly questioning his own worth, searching for recognition in a world where success is never enough. His relationship with Logan Roy is at the heart of his tragedy. Kendall spends his life trying to prove himself worthy of his father’s love, caught between wanting to become the man Logan expects him to be and wanting to be free from his control. Their relationship is a painful cycle of rejection, dependence, and fleeting moments of affection, where love is rarely separated from power. No matter how fiercely Kendall fights against his father, a part of him continues to seek the approval of the very person who makes him feel inadequate. Beneath the rivalry and resentment lies a son who wants nothing more than to be seen as enough by his father.
