According to the dispatcher, Farwell became visibly and audibly angry and told him not to discuss the matter again. Farwell later sent a text message referring to both Sandra and the caller in derogatory terms and saying they should never discuss it again. Prosecutors allege this report heightened Farwell’s concerns that his relationship with Sandra would be exposed. They accuse him of killing her less than two weeks later and staging her death to look like a suicide. Another significant development came from Sandra’s OB-GYN. The doctor testified that Sandra’s pregnancy appeared viable during her final appointments and that Sandra had not expressed suicidal thoughts to her. Her doctor said she was surprised by Sandra’s death. DNA testing has also established that Farwell was not the biological father of Sandra’s unborn child, despite Sandra reportedly believing he was. Prosecutors are expected to call the child’s biological father to testify later this week. Farwell has pleaded not guilty. His defense maintains that Sandra died by suicide following the end of their relationship, and his attorneys have questioned aspects of the medical and digital evidence. The trial continues, with prosecutors presenting evidence to support their allegations and the defense challenging their account. Sandra was just 23 years old when she died in February 2021.
