@highballco: Jensen Ackles is 48 and played the same character for fifteen years, which almost nobody in television has done. Texas kid, Dallas. He was modelling from four years old because his mother put him forward for it, and he nearly went into sports medicine instead. Acting won. Days of Our Lives first, then Smallville, then Supernatural in 2005. Fifteen seasons, 327 episodes, the longest-running American fantasy series ever made. The fanbase it built is one of the most devoted anywhere. He also directed six episodes of it, which says a lot about how much of that show was actually his. Since then: Soldier Boy in The Boys, Big Sky, Tracker, and Countdown last year. The style is Texan and plain. Flannel, denim, boots, leather jacket, plain tee. Beard and a cap most of the time. He dresses like Dean did, which is either the character rubbing off or the other way round. He also co-owns a brewery in Texas and sings, which more people have found out in the last few years. Hopefully he does more projects soon. Find Highball's free newsletter in our bio. We find things worth your attention. 🔗 #mensfashion #cinema
