It’s not just the peers doing the bullying it’s also the teachers.

Teachers specialised in math and English could get together and create mini home schools, parents drop their kids off to the teachers house or rented venue and they do online learning with Max 30 students for 4 hrs a day. Could be a nice money maker idea for teachers. This allows kids to still get social time. Break the day up, 1 hr math, 15 min break, 1 hr English, 15 min brake 1 hr Science/subject of interest, 30 min, practical skills then head home.

How are they receiving education at home? Genuine question? With cost of living so high both parents need full time jobs.

maybe if the bullies were getting in trouble and put on behaviour plans and if not then they should be asked to leave

It doesn’t help the department of education don’t support neurodivergent kids who don’t qualify for special school but have to leave mainstream school due to burnout. Schools don’t help and there is no other option…

We were homeschooled in the late 90’s for a few years, unfortunately the curriculum was so much better than ours, that I was being taught the same lessons I learned in yr8, again in year 12 once back in the mainstream education system.

That's because there are no consequences.... not in school... not out of school.
And because of that?
They don't believe there ever WILL be consequences.
We gotta do SOMETHING - or in 1-2 decades???
No one will be safe

Truth is media and truth can put a spin on it, but at the end of the day kids expect bullies and can deal with that themselves. It’s when teachers put them down and belittle them over and over that actually makes them not want to go. Cause most schools “fix” is putting g another teacher in there to watch and see if the teacher is bad. like that’s effective

Bullying isn't like when we were their age. Now it's active attacks on social media, and in person involving 🗡 . I don't blame parental wanting to keep their kids safe from the ferals
