Besides city in the hills there’s not really a lot of houses to go to where you don’t have to get in your car and drive to the next house so we just do the trunk and treats. They’re having them all this weekend next week in Bakersfield. They sell treats food we do that. I screenshot a bunch of them, so let me know if you wanna see them.

You can look at the Nextdoor app and there is usually a trick-or-treating map… but PLEASE regardless of what neighborhood you decide to drive to even if it’s clear across town… Be respectful, and do not leave your trash everywhere…(this is not directed at the person who posted this…just in general for anyone) We absolutely love to give out candy! And we have been lucky enough where we don’t have a bunch of candy left over every year

Loved my neighborhood until others decided to drop off their kids. They stole our candy bucket and smashed our pumpkins

Idk about now but one year I went to the neighborhood by Beale park and it was so packed you could barely even fit on the sidewalk.

I don’t even know anymore . When we first moved here in 2004 our neighborhood was so big on candy as the years went on we got so many people just driving and dropping off and pickup that people just stopped passing out . Now it’s only a few house and my parents still . Now with all these trunk or treats and with Halloween landing on weekdays sometimes parents don’t go out anymore

I’ve never truck or treated in Bakersfield but my sisters neighborhood seems to be ok. We always did safe Halloween at the museum. She’s out off olive drive almost to jewetta j think. Lots of kids in the area seems like. We spent 4th of July there and seemed to be very family oriented so I’d think Halloween would be the same. Good luck, have fun, make sure to glow!
