Guilderland is the same. The school administrators never care they say it's "jokes" or have a short "talk" with the student and ignore it. My kids best friend got run out of the field hockey team bc of the insane racism there. The capital district is not safe for black and brown students. The superintendent doesn't care either.

So there is something they can do. This is a failure of the school and the school district. This is the kind of ecosystem that they support that is why they are refusing to actually do anything. Bullying is completely unacceptable all the way around and almost every single school district, however they like to change the policy, depending on the politics.

When I went to high school 17 years ago, my high school in Oregon had a cyberbullying policy. it doesn’t make any sense to me why CCHS doesn’t have one that they can easily reference when asked about it, have they been living under a rock?

Whoever they are should be identified and suspended for harassing and defamation of your son’s character and the school staff sued for failing to protect and seize this type of behavior towards him. These bullies will continue their behavior if the school staff don’t get to the truth and investigate the situation.
