@ladybugsss: This friendly stray kitty has been showing up at my door almost every day for the past week 🥹 Usually in the evenings, sometimes even at dawn, and he RUNS toward me as soon as I open the door. I’ve been feeding him, and now I’m starting to worry about him. He doesn’t seem to be neutered, and I’m not sure if he has a home or if he’s truly a stray. Does anyone know what I should do or who I can contact to help him? Does anyone want him?? I feel so bad for him and want to make sure he’s safe. That cat is an angel in disguise! He comes around a lot of people at the right time. He is super friendly. Extremely grateful and humble. He's a gentleman but a wanderer. He will go away, on his own. He likes to be welcomed into your home but then wants to go back out. He's a good guy. ❤️🐾🐾

You could always check for a microchip at a local vet/shelter! Please consider fostering him for the time being as October is a very scary and sometimes even deadly month for black kitties unfortunately 💔

Are you on the Nextdoor app? Post on there because somebody might be missing their cat? He’s friendly so he probably was abandoned by somebody or lost or wants a home. There’s groups on Facebook that’s called the rehome San Jose and lost cat groups but just don’t put the exact address for the cat’s safety. Ask the local San Jose TNR & car Rescue groups if they know the 🐈‍⬛.
