@hybridcalisthenics: How much do you need to customize your fitness routine? I usually recommend people don't customize a fitness routine right away. While it seems intuitive to find a unique routine because you're unique, humans tend to train the same movements with similar exercises. There may be slight preferences (like dumbbell vs barbell versions), but you'll learn your preferences through trying. Because of this, you can usually do well finding a routine from someone you trust and just following that strictly until you know it well enough to adjust. I'd put more effort into customizing the DIFFICULTY of exercises (and therefore the rep range). Gym routines usually do this already, but home workouts tend to give blanket exercises like "pushups." Find a variation you can do comfortably and work it consistently until you're able to move on. Your maximum reps will move up. When you move on to a harder exercise, they'll drop down. Keep this "max rep" number as your base - you don't need to artificially limit yourself to 5 reps if you can do 15 (unless you specifically want to train 5 reps). Find what works for you. Have a wonderful day! #hybridcalisthenics
