Akwasi :
But when minerals are discovered on your land, you are dispossessed and become the property of the state with the president as the custodian. What stops the president from selling it friends, family, tribesmen and his favorites. There is no equity here

Akwasi :
The real change is when the owner of the surface rights to the land also owns the minerals beneath it. It is unfair to dispossess the natives of these right then turn around to sell minerals rights to faceless people and foreigners.
