@loulishes: #ZUKO || why did he kinda eat w that line…|| #zukoedit #avatarthelastairbender #avatarthelastairbenderedit #edit

naomi.cxm :

Zuko literally burns down the old throne room in the beginning of the movie btw, so technically he’s wrong.

swerdy :

I mean it’s a valid point that never gets brought up again….

Trin Ramirez :

i think that line is important because it shows zuko still struggles internally with how outsiders perceive him. the line was important not because there was truth to the statement but because he, like aang needed to forgive himself for things out of his control, it showed that they didn’t only parallel each other in adolescence but their whole lives. He still loved his nation, they’re not all bad,they just needed a good leader to steer them away from the years of propaganda which he states in the eclipse episode to his father when he promised to help aang. can you blame him? he did the best thing for his people. It was the easiest transition because it was still someone with royal blood and if he were to abdicate the throne there would’ve been anarchy or worse, the other nations would’ve demanded them to disband altogether. The fire nation prospered under zuko, you do not need to erase an entire culture and all of their traditions to solve problems.

"big talk coming from someone who sits on a throne built on a century of war" he says to Zuko. Zuko, who burned down that throne and built a new one after he committed treason to stop the war... but yeah no sure...

Who is Zuko? For the blind, he is vision. For the hungry, he is the chef. For the thirsty, he is water. If Zuko thinks, I agree. If Zuko speaks, I'm listening. If Zuko has a million fans, I am one of them. If Zuko has ten fans, I am one of them. If Zuko has only one fan, that is me. If Zuko has no fans, I no longer exist. If the whole world is against Zuko, I am against the whole world. I will love Zuko until my very last breath.
