@browneyedgurl801: Tia Zakher is 23 years old and has a decision to make every night. She’s an Uber Eats delivery driver and knows something everyone in her line of work learns pretty quickly: you make more money at night. Waiting until morning wasn’t an option. But going out alone in the dark scared her, so she came up with her own solution. She put on a gray sweatshirt, an oversized jacket, khaki pants, and white sneakers. On top, she wore a hooded cap and a mask that covered half her face. She recorded herself on TikTok with text that explained it all: you're afraid to deliver alone at night, but you make more money, so you dress like a man. The video caption was a single phrase: "Male privilege". The clip surpassed 272,000 views. Many users supported her and lamented that a woman should have to go to these lengths. Others gave her practical advice, like wearing baggier pants to look more convincing. And some criticized her.
