Additionally, investigations revealed that Liam Hall sent the victim numerous emails on a prisoner service email account, urging her to dismiss the charges. Amanda Hall, 53, of Peel Lane, Heywood, and Liam Hall, 29, of no fixed address, appeared at Preston Crown Court for their sentencing today (10th July). After a May trial, both individuals were convicted of conspiracy to subvert the course of justice by a jury. Additionally, Liam Hall was convicted of perverting the course of justice, assault causing actual bodily injury, and sexual assault by penetration. He was sentenced to five years in prison, placed on the sex offenders register, and subjected to a restraining order for a period of ten years with respect to his victim. Amanda Hall was sentenced to nine months in prison, with the sentence suspended for 18 months. Additionally, she was required to perform 140 hours of community service.
