@lukegerr: In football, the role of a villain is more complicated than you might think. Two identical shots can tell us two completely different stories: Figo is your classic villain, leaving his long-time club for their biggest rival Real Madrid. Donnarumma falls into a more complicated and tragic role: The forgotten hero. After 5 excellent years with PSG, the goalkeeper was disappointed to see his guaranteed salary drop from €12.7m to €7m per season. As a result, Donnarumma backed himself and transferred to Manchester City. His homecoming match was complicated at best. After going down 3-0 to PSG inside 30 minutes, the Italian watched on as his former fans celebrated. One thing’s for sure: the fans have moved on. The question is, has Donnarumma? #football #Soccer #championsleague #donnarumma #villain
