Locs are taken very seriously in Africa.
We see locs as spiritual. They are not just a hairstyle. It's like a hijab for Muslims or the cross necklace for Catholics.

Yes we do. I’m African, and I’ve seen plenty of Africans defending Black Americans throughout this whole diaspora war, so wht are you talking abt? Just like I’ve seen some Black Americans, especially those in the FBA community, not wanna claim Africa. And yes, a lot of us Africans defending Black Americans are educated on Black American history, and we’re still trying to learn as much as we can now I’m speaking on behalf of Black people globally. I can’t speak for immigrants who aren’t Black.

Not only that they purposely continue to be ignorant because they don’t care and they just want to be closer to the white person and they want to be seen as better than the black American

I don't know if you are aware, but most African countries had dictators, a lot of our parents and grandparents were not allowed to wear certain things, some got eliminated or imprisoned. Some families don't allow their children to wear some things because of the trauma. It's only recently boys (at least in my country) have been allowed, in schools, to get fades.
