SpittingTruths :
Shanahan cannot develop WRs. That’s why he goes for veterans

They are literally 4th tier receivers, what do you expect?

jabblu1 :
Idk why cowing think he has to catch every punt as well, there has been multiple times where he should just take the likely chance it bounces into endzone, but no he wants to catch everything

They were the 7th, 8th, and 9th receiver on our depth chart for a reason

2nd half was classic Shanahan burning the clock with bs plays and dump offs. Nothing new

Cowing is str8 trash I’m good on him but Watkins needs more plays. Use him like Debo to get em going

Shanahan and his coaches should have been more prepared for that. How are they practicing in an entire offseason and Cowing & Watkins still cant do the right things? Seems like the 49ers dont take their injury prone history into account and prepare for that reality and work on the fly instead

This is a HUGE problem. This will NOT be our year if they try to finish the last 11 games with cooks and cowing as 1 and 2.

They gettin open Brock just don’t trust them yet..he looks for Kittle and CMC to much..I seen Cooks and Watkins open and Purdy had time in the pocket but didn’t go their direction

those stats at the end says why we should bring in another WR not a fill in. yes we will get Robinson back but hes more like a 3. deebo is an all around but hes not a 1 or a 2

purdy was mad at everyone in 2nd half. especially when Kyle took the ball out of his hands and gave Washington another drive to win

ItzRo1an :
Last time Brock threw to Cowing it ended in a int it makes sense why he doesn’t trust his 5ft 8th string WRs 😭 but Watkins looks like he has more juice and more rhythm with Purdy than the others but it’s not enough

Yoitsjimmy :
Brock does not trust the WR, that should concern lynch and Kyle, they NEED TO TRADE

The defence was in Purdys lap the whose second half so there’s that and Shanny went into his turtle shell and stopped trying to run the ball

Shannons thinking is causing the problem on offense, evident in 2nd half
