The downside is lag, since a big turbo takes time to spool. Example: Subaru WRX. 🔧 2️⃣ Twin-Scroll Turbo: The smart upgrade. It splits the exhaust pulses into two channels, so the turbo spools faster and responds quicker. Example: BMW M340i. ⚡ 3️⃣ Parallel Twin Turbo: Two identical turbos, each fed by half the engine. It's a popular setup on V engines and delivers big top-end power. Example: Nissan GT-R. 🚀 4️⃣ Sequential Twin Turbo: One small turbo works at low rpm, then a bigger one takes over up top. You get quick response and big power, but it's complex. Example: Toyota Supra A80. 🏆 5️⃣ Variable Geometry Turbo: Movable vanes change how exhaust flows across the turbine, which cuts lag.
