@chicanosworldwide: BREAKING: 🚨🔥 Carlos Josué Marchena Marchena, a 36 year old Costa Rican man with Type 1 diabetes, died on September 18, 2026 while in ICE custody at Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana. His family and a fellow detainee told the Associated Press that Marchena had complained about missed insulin doses, missed meals and inadequate water while being transferred between detention facilities. ICE said he received proper medical care, while the official cause of death remains pending further medical examination. Why are these detained people being treated worse than criminals?? this would never happen in the county jail or the prison!! the state would be sued for everything!!
