@oldiestime0: "Jabulani" is a hit Afro-pop song by the prominent South African singer PJ Powers (born Penelope Jane Dunlop). Originally making waves in the 1980s while she fronted the cross-cultural band Hotline, the track became a massive success across Southern Africa and turned her into a household name. Later revitalized in a celebrated 2010 collaborative album of the same name alongside the late hip-hop icon HHP (Hip Hop Pantsula), the track became a powerful symbol of unity and hope. P.J. Powers' soulful, raspy vocals and the song's infectious rhythm earned her the beloved Zulu name "Thandeka" ("The Loved One") after historic performances in Soweto, cementing its legacy as a cross-cultural masterpiece bridging generations.#southafrica #jabulani #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #viral #OldSchoolMusic
