I used to have a friend I did my best for. When she was pregnant, I was there through out but when it was time to give birth, her husband said he didn’t want me to be there because he didn’t want me to be “fooling” around according to him. I am a very jovial person so even when life gets serious, I try to joke around. That’s my coping mechanism. But during labor, she still called me that night because according to her, nobody will be there for her more than me. I drove her and the same husband to the hospital that night, stayed there till she gave birth the next day. I took food to her while she was there and also at home. I literally made her daughter my goddaughter and practically did everything I could. But on her daughter’s birthday, she gave a long speech appreciating everyone for honoring the daughter’s birthday, my name was never mentioned! That thing broke me. I left and never looked back….

This is 💯 correct, there’s this woman I normally help cos I saw her condition with kids, and d husband is trying too, but recently I just promised to give this woman something, only for her to text me the next morning, that how much am I planning to give her, that she wants to add it to what her husband will also give her, I just sent her something and blocked her off, now she has noticed and hardly even greets me whenever we meet, Idgaf tho
