Empathy works both ways. Let's not forget that this singer reportedly charged the event organizer ₹35 lakh (approximately £27,600 or $37,000) for one performance. If he was genuinely unwell and unable to perform, why did he accept such a large payment and still attend the event? Surely he had a responsibility to inform the organizers beforehand or offer a refund if he couldn't deliver what was agreed. Nobody is saying he shouldn't receive sympathy, but there's a difference between showing empathy and holding someone accountable. The organizers and paying audience deserve consideration too.
