@ghostgirl27272: The 2026 Spokane wildfires were a group of major fires that hit the Spokane, Washington area in August 2026. The largest, the Old Trails Fire, began near Airway Heights on August 1 and spread rapidly toward Spokane. Investigators determined that it was arson, and a suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree arson. Spokane County +1 The fires spread so quickly because the area was experiencing very dry vegetation, high temperatures, low humidity, and strong winds. Those conditions allowed the flames to move rapidly into residential areas. The Old Trails, Autumn Lane, and Fairview fires together became known as the Spokane Complex fires, forcing roughly 65,000–67,000 people to evacuate and destroying hundreds of structures. #wildfire #firstresponders #firefighters #inspired #arson

for those who dont know, the wildfires were arson. The people who started the fires even did research and made sure they started it in the right time, which they did. They waited for it to be hot and dry, and started the fires, and it was just too fast spreading and spread too much before we could even react.
