my avoidant literally just did this on a micro scale with me and one of her exes. she was rebuilding the relationship with him, talking about their future, making plans, and things fell through or something. she was super distant for a few weeks while she was talking to him frequently, and suddenly she was super close with me again and talking to me just as much as ever. she doesn't know how much I know. I've just been watching and waiting for it all to blow up in her face honestly
