This gate agent (Charles is his name) sent this woman into a mental breakdown due to discriminating against her disabled children. They are autistic and nonverbal. He tried to humiliate her kids in front of everyone & caused her to snap. Flight 1948 leaving Chicago. He refused to scan the children’s boarding passes just because she, as their mother was holding their boarding passes in her hand he refused to scan them because he said that they needed to hold their own boarding passes. The most interesting part about this is there was a white couple who went on before them, and the husband was holding both his and his wife’s supporting passes in his hand, and the agent scanned them on with no issue, but when he saw this black woman with her disabled children, all of a sudden he invented this issue out of his ass. #so#southwestairlineso#southwestsoracistbl#ableisms#discriminationt

I'm disabled and some of those airline tenants are rude and dont care and are judgmental. They have a little power and they get power happy and give ppl a hard time because they can. She's explaining over and over and theyre not listening and its wrong. Ppl whondont know how to work with the public properly needs to not work with the public. a This is sad and I hope she got home with her children safely and everything g worked out for them in the end
