A Private Sanctuary in the Ubud Pool Villa @mandapareserve @ritzcarltonreserve Staying in the Ubud Pool Villa at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve felt like retreating into a private world shaped entirely by nature. Tucked within the valley and surrounded by rainforest, the villa offers a rare sense of seclusion while still feeling deeply connected to Ubud’s landscape. Designed with traditional Balinese elements by Jeffrey Wilkes, the space feels warm, grounded, and residential rather than hotel like. Every detail invites you to slow down, from the generous layout to the seamless indoor outdoor flow. The private pool became the heart of the villa, quiet mornings floating in still water, afternoons spent listening to the forest, and evenings winding down as the light softened around the valley. Outdoor living spaces made it easy to stay present, whether soaking, lounging, or simply doing nothing at all. What truly elevated the experience was the Patih service. Having a dedicated twenty four hour butler made everything feel effortless, intuitive, and deeply personal, allowing the villa to feel not just private, but cared for. The Ubud Pool Villa is not about excess, but about space, calm, and presence. It is the kind of place that gently resets you, leaving you feeling restored long after you leave. #MandapaReserve #UbudPoolVilla #RitzCarltonReserve #UbudLuxury #BaliSanctuary
