At a hearing on December 7, Gwilliam-Carter entered a guilty plea to one count of raping a child under the age of 13. Additionally, he acknowledged three counts of creating indecent images of children and five counts of distributing them. In court, he was sentenced to an eight-year extended term of parole. Additionally, he was issued a lifetime sexual harm prevention order and was enrolled in the sexual offenders register for the duration of his life.
