Who Made the First Durga Murti? 🪔🙏 🙏 पुरानी कथाएँ को फ़ॉलो करें — हर दिन एक नई सनातन कथा 👉 @puranikathaye1 A king named Suratha lost his kingdom to his enemies. A merchant named Samadhi was thrown out of his own home by his wife and sons. The two broken men met in the forest at the ashram of Rishi Medhas, who told them the glory of the Devi — how she destroyed Madhu-Kaitabha, Mahishasura, and Shumbha-Nishumbha. Then the two went to a riverbank and, with their own hands, shaped an image of the Goddess from the earth. For three years they worshipped that clay murti with flowers, incense, fire and water — even offerings sprinkled with their own blood. Pleased, Chandika herself appeared. Suratha asked for his kingdom, and was promised a future birth as Savarni Manu. Samadhi asked only for knowledge that frees one from "I" and "mine". Granting both boons, the Devi vanished. The murti was clay — but the call was true. #Navratri #TrendingReels #ExplorePage #sanatanadharma #MythologyReels - @puranikathaye1
