According to the report, Wuchner slipped on spilled Baileys Irish Cream while rushing to board a flight to Zurich with a tray of hot coffees. He claims the accident left him with severe migraines, memory problems, exhaustion and other lasting symptoms that destroyed his ability to run his business. A judge previously ruled that British Airways bore responsibility for the accident but reduced his eventual compensation entitlement by 20% because of his own contribution to the incident. Now, the case has taken an unexpected twist! 😮 A former friend and business associate claims Wuchner has travelled extensively, participated in business activities, performed physically demanding tasks and even obtained a boating licence in Croatia since the accident. However, Wuchner's lawyer dismissed the allegations as gossip between former friends who had fallen out. She also argued that British Airways had not formally pleaded dishonesty or exaggeration in its defence. The court has awarded Wuchner £100,000 in interim damages while the dispute over the extent of his injuries and compensation continues.
