@kareynicole: Ever notice how things seem to fall apart right when you’re finally making progress? You start setting boundaries. Choosing differently. Showing up for yourself. And suddenly, you’re overthinking, pulling back, or falling into the very patterns you’ve been working so hard to break. Here’s what I want you to understand: sometimes, what looks like self-sabotage is actually self-protection. Your brain is wired to prefer what’s familiar, even when familiar means painful. Growth asks you to step into uncertainty, and that can feel scary when you’ve spent years learning how to survive a certain way. Maybe you’re not afraid of success itself. Maybe you’re afraid of what success will require you to leave behind. The old version of you might have learned to stay small, avoid disappointment, or keep everyone else comfortable to feel safe. But you’re allowed to outgrow the patterns that once protected you. Instead of asking, Why do I keep messing this up? try asking: What am I afraid might happen if I actually move forward? That question creates space for compassion, awareness, and a different choice. You don’t have to shame yourself into change. You can understand yourself into freedom. Save this for the next time you feel yourself pulling away from the progress you’ve worked so hard to make. #SelfSabotage #HealingJourney #EmotionalHealing #NervousSystemHealing #PersonalGrowth BreakingGenerationalPatterns WomenAndHealing
