@jnks760: "This series consider as a way to promote Myanmar culture" shut up bro we don't need your promotion of our culture when the series is labeled as "Thailand version" @gmmtvofficial #fyp #honey_jane #myanmar
And our Rakhine traditional oil-lamp dance is performed to pay homage to the Buddha, not to be danced in front of men. GMMTV ကို mention ခေါ်ပေးကြပါဦး ခေါ်လို့မရလို့

Wait, are you time-traveling to Myanmar’s Konbaung Dynasty?
Why are some of the costumes, hairstyles, and floral hair ornaments in your trailers so similar to traditional Burmese fashion from the Konbaung era? Some of the outfits worn by the female characters look remarkably like traditional Burmese clothing.
I have no issue with Tai or Shan-inspired clothing, because cultures across Southeast Asia have shared influences throughout history. But some of these costumes look specifically similar to traditional Burmese royal attire from the Konbaung period.
Does Thailand have its own rich traditional clothing and cultural heritage? Of course it does. So why not showcase your own historical fashion instead of using costumes that look so much like another country’s cultural heritage?
I usually don’t want to criticize historical dramas just because they feature Burmese traditional clothing. But this is different. Scarlet Heart Thailand is a Thai adaptation of a Korean drama, yet some of the costumes shown in the trailers look strikingly similar to traditional Burmese clothing.
Myanmar’s cultural heritage deserves recognition and proper acknowledgment. If these designs were inspired by Burmese history and traditional dress, it would be respectful to acknowledge that inspiration rather than leave viewers wondering where these costumes actually came from.
Cultural appreciation is one thing, but cultural identity and historical heritage deserve respect ?

I love the actors and actresses in this series and all but some people just keep quiet and even defend gmmtv bc they stan them. even thought I stan them too, if its abt our country we cant accept this. I need gmmtv to make a statement and maybe even remove the "thailand" from the title and change it to myanmar or smt 😭 cause this series has nth abt thai's culture
