@the_tower_perfumes: HOLY GHOST! — What does a church smell like? There is something strangely hypnotic about the atmosphere of an old Orthodox church. The air is heavy with incense. Smoke slowly rises toward the ceiling, disappearing into the darkness beneath golden domes. Candle flames flicker against ancient icons, illuminating the faces of saints who seem to be watching you from another world. Somewhere in the distance, a choir begins to sing. The voices echo through the enormous space, blending with the smell of burning resin, melted wax, old wood, and centuries of prayer. It is a place where time seems to move differently. For some, this atmosphere represents peace, faith, and childhood memories. For others, it evokes something darker: guilt, fear, death, or the unsettling feeling of standing before something far greater than yourself. HOLY GHOST! was created to capture this strange duality between the sacred and the unsettling. This fragrance is also deeply personal to me. When I was nineteen, I spent countless hours sitting on scaffolding inside St. Elizabeth’s Church in Odesa, painting ornamental decorations on its walls. I remember the golden surfaces, the silence, the smell of incense, and the strange feeling of observing a sacred place from high above the ground. Years later, those memories became a perfume.
