@anatomy.of.motion: Did you know that sitting straighter won't fix your low back pain? If you feel stiffness in your lumbar spine after sitting for several hours, you may feel the urge to find a better position. But trying to do so won't help in the long run, because the issue isn't the position itself. You'll just be trading one stiff position for another. The longterm solution is to build your body's capacity to stay strong regardless of the position you're in. To get on the right track, try this. Stand on both legs with your knees and hips slightly bent. In this position, try moving your lower back into different positions by tucking and untucking your pelvis. Notice how it feels when your lower back is rounded versus when it's arched. Building awareness of these positions for just a minute every couple of days will do you far more good than trying to find the perfect static posture.
Legit? I have a sedentary job!! I'm dying in the last 4 hours
