I think Diana is the most influential superhero PERIOD. While characters like Batman and superman have inspired other characters across media, Diana has straight up been appointed the ambassador for the empowerment of girls and women since 2016, she genuinely influenced the amount of women who helped during WW2, I have not seen a way any other superhero has been that impactful to the real world

Wonder man is not a bad character by ANY means. She has amazing comics that simply hurts my soul when people downplay her. Litteraly Absolute wonder man was the type of Wonder Woman I wanted to return in the main line universe in terms of writing. Like it’s amazing, but DC just sucks and takes away a lot from her character and removes so much of what makes Wonder Woman so awesome. But they dumbed her down to lazily written warrior, who likes to fight. She’s so much more than that she has actual conflict and actual character development.

don't get me wrong when I say this, I love wonder woman as much as the next guy, she's even my mom's favorite superhero, however if she was a good character people would know who she is and her villains, she's just not cool

Honestly I’d argue she’s one of the most important characters in the past century. The primary idea her comics present that a woman does not have to give up their more traditionally feminine attributes to be respected or strong, it’s present in so many forms of media like Star Wars and has even been deconstructed in media like mulan.
